Tuesday Fifth of April

could this rain bring with it all the woe

of the world

we have forgotten

with each drip upon this glass

of my window pane

for the moment tiny drips

are dripping

streets are slick outside

cars drive by swooshing

in this whirling splashing swirling of the thoughts within my mind

you are appearing so gently

images bring feelings

warmth on a blustery eve

reservation is a damn holding back the flow of my heart

This quiet Tuesday seems okay

glad to be here to be alive to feel this way

a river unleashed into the springtime
